Hannity has a big guest planned for tonight’s show

By  |

Fox News hosts Sean Hannity will have a surprise guest on his show Monday night — none other than President Donald Trump.

The network announced on Sunday that following Trump’s summit with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, the president will sit down with the Fox News host to discuss “the summit along with other top news of the day,” Fox News said in a statement.

Hannity’s exclusive interview with Trump following the summit will air on Monday night.

According to a report by The Hill in May, Hannity and Trump speak on the phone several times a day, so it comes as no surprise that the president would give an exclusive interview to the Fox News host.

Hannity is a major supporter of the president, and reportedly is one of only a few dozen people who were given access to Trump’s official phone line.

The Fox News host recently agreed with Trump that no matter the outcome of the summit between the U.S. and Russian leader, the mainstream media will cover it in a negative light — and Hannity is offering an opportunity to cover it truthfully.

Fox News Insider reports, “Hannity said Trump will address a range of issues with Putin, including the 2016 election interference by Russia, the status of Crimea, the Syria crisis and arms control.”

Fox News host Tucker Carlson will also conduct a separate interview with the president on his show, and it will air Tuesday night.

Trump has given several interviews to Fox News host throughout the last year, and he even hired a former Fox News executive as his deputy chief of staff for communications last month.
